The beach was lovely but Austin is better....

Ok, I am really falling in love with the gorgeous landscape of Austin all over. I thought it was beautiful on the beach, but I have to say that Lake Travis takes the cake. Rain or no rain, Lakeway Texas is a slice of heaven cake, and these two sweet angels are heavenly to work with! They are so adorable and I've had the opportunity to work with them on several occasions. They got a puppy a year ago and we were going to have a tea party with her, but it was too wet. That's ok because these photos were a lot of fun too!

Being an Austin baby & children's photographer is a dream come true...not only do I get to play with lovable little ones...but I also live in the best city in the world!!

Baby Blues

Look at the blue eyes on this little lady!! She was such a doll and very happy today. I can't wait to see you and your sweet brother again soon. We really wanted a sleeping shot so I came back at naptime and snuck one in....sorry that I woke you up sweet baby! Until we meet again....sweet dreams.....you'll have forgotten that I ruined your nap by then. I just LOVE baby photography.

Back to School Blitz

I have been photographing this family for 3 years now. I insisted on doing the portraits at their home this time! They have a beautiful yard with flowers, a tree house, and great memories. I'm so glad that we agreed to do it here instead of the green belt because we wouldn't have gotten the awesome dog shots or the tree house shots that we did. I loved little Andrew's back to school pictures...he started kindergarten this year and is on his way to learning algebra! Sam is contemplating Newton's Law of Gravity and how it applies to apples, while Bailey is studiously reading a novel.

Gorgeous Eyes!!

Dark clouds and a lot of wind came blowing in with these two brothers, Sean and Ryan. We had to quickly do the shoot outside before moving into a safe place! They have gorgeous eyes that seem to whisper tales of their boyhood adventures. They are about to embark on an all new adventure on the Key!! May your transition be blessed and smooth! I told Sean that he was very well-behaved. "I know," he answered.

Rain, Rain, go away...Bridget wants to get outside and play. I have 2 more shoots that I want to do before the rain comes!!

SoBe Romance

We went to South Beach and before getting rained out, I got to get this quick photo of Buddy, the extra-large Yorkshire Terrier, as he steals a kiss from Abigail. Many watching got a good laugh when Abby commanded, "kisses," (in her rough and tough voice). Buddy gently obeyed.

Splash!

I photographed this cute little baby when she was 6 months and now again at 9 months...she is keeping mom very busy. She isn't afraid of the water at all! Pool portraits are the best. I love the candid images of children enjoying themselves. Other than bubbles or candy, water is the ultimate pleasure for little people. This family loves the water and their children are great swimmers already.

Friday night at the Crandon Cabanas

This shoot was resheduled 4 times due to rain. Well this was well worth the wait because the sun was perfectly peeking in and out of the beautiful clouds that decorate some of the backgrounds of these portraits. This is the Christopher family and they were wonderful to work with. A beautiful family inside and out. Kim is an art teacher and Miami artist so I felt extra inspired to "create" since I knew that she would like the extraordinary and not the ordinary! Thank you so much for trusting me with your family portraits and making the drive out for a fun family night on the beach.
